Penny Leech - Leech Real Estate

Penny Leech, Broker/Owner

662-640-1088

Penny Leech has grown up around the real estate business. She was raised in Jackson, MS where her first job as a teenager was putting up real estate signs and sending out marketing materials for her mom & dad’s real estate business. Penny got her real estate license after graduating from Mississippi State University in 1997. She has specialized in residential sales, property management and real estate investing over her 20+ year career. The driving force behind Penny’s career choice is the opportunity it creates to help people. She learned early on from her parents that no success is worth compromising your integrity. Her goal is to aid each client through her real estate knowledge to diligently and cautiously enter into one of the biggest transactions of their lifetime. This is no small task and Penny takes her responsibilities as a guide during this process very seriously. Her parents always taught her, it takes a lifetime to build a good reputation and one bad deal to ruin one. With this in mind, there is no insignificant client. Every deal matters. Penny resides in Amory with her 3 daughters and enjoys teaching yoga at her studio, Alive & Well.

Kaela Turner - Leech Real Estate

My name is Kaela Turner. I was born to Doug & Tammy Vanderford of Olive Branch, MS. I grew up as the middle child between 2 brothers. I graduated High school in 2003 and married Joshua Turner in 2005 at the young age of 19, we lived in Olive Branch until 2011 when my husband transferred with his job as a refrigeration mechanic and we relocated to the small town of Amory. It was a drastic change from the large growing city of Olive Branch, but we welcomed the change and loved the idea of starting our family in a small-town environment. We welcomed our son Wyatt in 2013 and then our daughter Brooklyn in 2018. We are members of Life @ Tupelo FPC in Tupelo, where I also assist with our kid’s department.

My first real job was as a pharmacy technician for Kroger at the age of 16. I simply fell in love with helping people and just the day-to-day environment of the pharmacy world. I worked in the pharmacy atmosphere for over 10 years until we welcomed our first child. I had considered going into real estate for several years, even before getting out of the pharmacy, but it never felt like the right time to take the plunge. I have enjoyed staying home and raising my babies for the last 7 years while working a few small businesses on the side from home. Earlier this year I started feeling like it might finally be the right time for me to take that step and just go for it. I had no hesitation in who I would reach out to for help in starting this new career. When we decided to relocate to Amory, Penny helped us find our home and went the extra mile to make the transition from Olive Branch to Amory so much easier on us. I became a licensed real estate agent in October and joined the dynamic team at Leech Real Estate, Inc.

I love being a part of a small family business that has such an amazing history, as I grew up around a family business that my grandfather started in Oxford in 1982. My dad and his 3 brothers helped him operate his business for many years until he retired and now they continue to run it.

I am looking forward to assisting the people in our growing community with all their buying and selling needs and excited to see where this next adventure in my life takes me!
